Yes, for the most part, you can stop at stoplights and see what the stoplight situation is. But there are a few bright spots. For example, the intersection of 7th and Folsom is only open from 9:00am to 9:00pm. That means that the light at 7th and Folsom is only open at certain times, and you have to stop at it or the light will be closed.

That’s a bit of a trick, but you can go to the center of the intersection and get some more points. If you can find a spot where the light will be closed when the light is turned on, then that’s probably where you should stop, since the light is on at 9am.

A couple of interesting things here: 1) The light at 9am is pretty bright. It’s not even on the east side of the city, so we’ll have to go down to the west side of the city, since it’s near the intersection of 7 and Folsom. It’s a bit of a shame though, because at 9am we have to get to the intersection to get to the light.
